Here are some of our committees working to build a strong movement for all employees at Tulane.
Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee (or the OC) is the beating heart of our union. The work of the OC is to organize our membership through consistent communication and relationship-building with individual members. A strong union has an inclusive and representational Organizing Committee. All TWU members are eligible to attend OC meetings and/or join the OC at any time.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee is responsible for drafting and distributing our communications strategy. They put out the newsletters you receive, design the posts for social media, respond to media requests, and develop a big picture strategy to make sure TWU is easy to engage with and visible! Communications is a critically important part of our union. They make sure that members can stay informed and involved, a necessary part of any democratic and active movement!
